  Working closely with Australia’s security and intelligence agencies, on 27 May 2008 the National Archives of Australia released the records of the Royal Commission on Intelligence and Security (RCIS). Dr Jim Stokes, of the National Archives, speaks about the background to the Royal Commission and its recordkeeping, and about the work of the National Archives to make these records available to researchers.
