How to Increase Our Consumption of Fruits

Personally, I’m a fan of fruit. I can eat an apple, a peach or strawberries at all times. But I know many people who, although they like the fruit, not in the habit of consuming and therefore miss out on this food so important.
Are you one of those who would like to increase consumption of fruit? Here are several strategies to be able to enjoy this food, and the way you incorporate all the essential nutrients it gives us.
Prepare snacks and fruit. Are not you excited to go to the refrigerator for a fruit, then try making different snacks for when you come hungry between meals. Obviously, you have to include fruits as main ingredients.
The classic choice is to make a fruit salad. Cut slices of orange, banana, kiwi, strawberries, peaches, grapes, mango and other fruit you want and place them in a bowl. Then pour a little white yogurt, a handful of nuts, granola or a dollop of whipped cream. Done!
This salad can enjoy between meals but also perfect for breakfast and dessert. Besides being delicious, you’ll be adding essential nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, fiber and folic acid.
Add fruit to your breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And what better to accompany this essential meal with foods that are essential in our diet: fruits. Cut a few pieces of bananas, strawberries or berries and incorporate in your sandwiches, waffles or cereal bars.
Fruit drinks. And if you get used to eating them, then get used to drink it! But do not cheat and buy juice at the supermarket, prepare your blender and make juice or natural fruit smoothies.
