In sinusitis, an inflammation of the sinuses, usually caused by prolonged or chronic colds, for the most community of allergies and, less commonly, infections of the roots of the teeth – a blockage occurs in the nasal passages with storage of fluid secretions in the head, which causes pressure sores on cheek bones and the root of the nose, intensified when the patient leans forward. The condition can also be accompanied by mild fever and, if chronic bad breath and permanent hoarseness. In the latter case, sometimes form polyps in the nasal mucosa, making it difficult enough to breathe.

Allergic rhinitis or hay fever is an inflammation of the nasal mucosa because of allergic reactions to pollen from plants, mostly in spring, or dust. It begins with a sudden complete blockage of nasal breathing, constant sneezing, runny acute conjunctivitis, tearing, light sensitivity, headache and, sometimes, fever.

In the coryza also produces inflammation of the lining of the nose, but as a result of colds and flues. In its acute form is manifested by sneezing, runny acute and then purulent, breathing difficulties, head heaviness, fatigue and mild fever. Furthermore, chronic coryza – whose causes sinusitis, nasal polyps and abuse of inhalants – presents, inter alia, the following symptoms: variable discharge, nasal mucosal atrophy, a tendency to bleeding.
