“My message is that cancer does not give a second chance and therefore my advice is early detection, to have the culture of going to medical checkups to diagnose at an earlier stage and offer a more optimal,” said Dr. José Manuel Palomo, gynecologic oncologist.

Medical Diagnosis of Cancer at An Early Age

It is worrying to see how each day increases the number of deaths due to dreaded cancer, but more worrying is that this disease is currently diagnosed at a younger age.

Dr. José Manuel Palomo, gynecologic oncologist, said that this phenomenon is partly due to neglect of the people by the lack of a preventive level, because in our culture there is to see a doctor early on but when it occurs any symptoms, what cancer means an intermediate or advanced in most cases is not operable.

He noted that each type of cancer has different origins, such as cancer of the cervix may be due to the onset of early intercourse, multiple sexual partners, not using protection and different ways of sex, factors that increase the incidence Vaginal infections at an event is the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) that is responsible for 98% of cervical cancer.
